Your profile, quotes, favourites and streaks stay on your device — this version of the app makes no network requests at all, so there is nothing for us to receive. It shows no ads, uses no tracking, and needs no mandatory account. Uninstalling the app removes everything.

This Privacy Policy explains how Aqraez ("the App", "we", "us"), developed under the name Getwiy, handles information when you use it. Please read this policy carefully. By using Aqraez, you agree to the practices described here.
Aqraez is designed to function entirely on your own device. It does not require you to create an account or sign in, and this version of the App makes no network requests of any kind — not for content, not for fonts, not for analytics. Every quote, font and image it uses is bundled inside the App itself. We operate no servers that store your personal data, and we integrate no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs into the App.
Every setup step that asks for information can be skipped. If you skip a step, nothing from it is stored. You can also change or clear any of these later from Settings.
Reminders are off until you set one. You can turn a reminder off again at any time on the Daily Reminder screen, and switch achievement or streak notifications on or off under Settings > Notifications.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, browsing history, device identifiers for advertising, or any information through analytics or crash-reporting services, because the App does not include any such services.
Android requires apps to explicitly ask for certain permissions. Here is what Aqraez requests and why:
Used for three separate things, each of which you control on its own: your daily quote reminder, a streak reminder if you have not opened the App that day, and a message when you unlock an achievement. The daily reminder is off until you set one; the other two are switched on and off under Settings > Notifications. You can also decline or revoke the permission itself at any time in your device settings, without affecting the rest of the App.
Used so your daily reminder arrives close to the exact time you chose, rather than an approximate time. If this permission is not granted, reminders will still work but may arrive within a wider time window.
Used only to re-schedule your reminders after you restart your phone, so that a reminder you set does not silently stop working. This gives the App no additional access to your device.
Requested only at the moment you choose to set a profile photo or a custom background photo. Aqraez cannot access your photos at any other time, and the selected photo is stored only on your device.
When you use the Save/Download feature on a quote image, Aqraez writes that newly created image directly into your device’s photo gallery. This uses Android’s standard "add a photo" capability, which is separate from — and narrower than — permission to read your existing photos. Aqraez does not gain any ability to browse, view, or access photos already on your device through this feature, and the saved image never leaves your device.
Everything listed above is used solely to run the App the way you’ve configured it — showing your favourites, sending your reminder, tracking your streak, personalising your feed, and remembering your settings. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond making the App work for you.
All information described in this policy is stored locally on your device using standard Android app storage. It is not transmitted to Getwiy, and there is no Getwiy-operated server where this data is held — which means there is no central database of user data that could be exposed in a data breach on our end. The security of data on your device also depends on your own device’s security (such as a screen lock).
Aqraez does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. The only third-party interaction is when you actively choose to share a quote: at that point, the App hands your content to your device’s built-in share function (see Section 7). We do not embed any third-party tracking code.
If you use the Share feature, Aqraez passes your chosen quote or quote image to whichever app you select (for example WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messages) through your device’s own share function. Getwiy does not see, store, or have access to what you share or who you share it with — that exchange happens directly between your device and the app you chose.
Your daily reminder and achievement notifications are scheduled and shown directly by your device’s operating system. They are not sent from, or logged by, any server.
Because your information is stored only on your device, you are always in direct control of it:
Since data is stored only on your device, it remains there for as long as the App is installed, and is removed automatically when you uninstall the App or clear its data through your device Settings.
Aqraez is available worldwide. For data protection laws that require a named data controller — including the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act — that controller is Getwiy, the developer identified at the end of this policy. In practice, because the App transmits nothing off your device, we do not receive, store or process your personal data on any server, and there is no cross-border transfer of it by us. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, Brazil, or any other region with specific data protection rules, the rights those laws give you — access, correction, deletion, portability — are exercised directly on your own device, as described in Section 9, because that is the only place your data exists.
Aqraez is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (the threshold under the United States' COPPA), nor from children under the age set by local law where that age is higher — in parts of the European Economic Area it is 16. Because the App stores everything locally and sends nothing to us, we hold no information about any user, child or adult. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has entered information into the App, uninstalling it removes everything stored locally; you are also welcome to contact us and we will help.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves — for example, if a future version adds optional account or cloud-sync features, this policy will be updated accordingly before that feature is released, and the date at the top will change.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by the laws of your country of residence.
